The Road Goes on Forever is the third and terminal studio anthology released by American land music supergroup The Highwaymen. It was released on Apr iv, 1995 on Freedom Records and reached 45 on the U.S. Billboard Meridian Country Albums chart. The title rail of this album was written past Robert Earl Cracking, Jr. and originally recorded on his 1989 album, Westward Textures.
Reissue [edit]
The album was re-released on November 8, 2005 on Capitol Nashville/EMI with bonus tracks and, in some versions, an actress DVD for the anthology's 10th anniversary. The DVD includes a music video for "It Is What Information technology Is", as well equally a short documentary entitled Live Forever - In the Studio with the Highwaymen.
